Tomatoes, 20 July 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A Banana Creme tomato on 20 July, one set fruit only and an oblong with rounded ends rather than any kind of globe, matte cream-green under its sepals, on a young sparse plant whose hairs catch the noon sun as a haze along every stem.
