Hosta, 21 July 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A hosta on 21 July, its scape carrying every flower down one side, the lowest a lavender funnel lined darker along each tepal with the white style curving well past the mouth, over cream-edged leaves with a sweep of bright moss and woodland behind.
