Peppers, 23 July 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A Ghost chili on 23 July, still wholly pale green and shining under a skin puckered into long ridges and dents the whole way down to its hooked point, one small tan scar at the shoulder, purple-flushed buds above it and cloudless blue behind.
