Onions, 24 July 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A bed sown and not yet up on 24 July, two shallow drills drawn away from the camera as unfilled slots and apricot-tan seed still sitting proud on the raked crumb beside the left one, under a midday sun so high the bed throws almost no shadow.
