Carrot, 24 July 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A sowing on 24 July with nothing up yet, the pelleted seed still lying along its drill lines and flecks of mica glittering through the mix, and the whole right-hand third of the bed under standing water, brown puddles with the soil showing through.
