Peppers, 28 July 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A Ghost chili on 28 July, still green and puckered into shallow folds and broadly blotched tan and cream, and the puckering runs straight on through the blotches, which lie slightly sunken in the skin rather than on it, with a white flower opening alongside.
