Bean, 28 July 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

Gold Rush beans breaking ground on 28 July, each shoving up in a crook that drags two fat seed leaves out still clasped face to face, the older ones already straightened under a puckered heart-shaped pair, a weed rooted in the flagstone joint alongside.
