Bean, 30 July 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

Tavera beans on 30 July, twenty widely spaced and a few already pushing a first trifoliate leaf up between the heart-shaped pair while half a dozen more are still folded shut in the crook, the soil evenly damp under flat shadowless cloud.
