Peppers, 30 July 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A plant felted white all over on 30 July, every stem, stalk and calyx under a mat of long tangled hair thick enough to read as wool, with half a dozen ivory flowers nodding face-down on woolly stalks and not one fruit anywhere in the frame.
