Carrot, 31 July 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

One shoot on 31 July hooked sharply over at the tip with its seed leaves still fused shut, vivid yellow against wet blackened bark, a second smaller arch away in the far corner, and a shred of blue plastic film torn and half buried down one side.
