Zucchini, 3 August 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A jar put up on 3 August, eight ridged green pods wedged upright and crossing one another in cloudy brine with a bay leaf lying flat on the bottom beneath them, and the one cut square across shows a hollow dark cavity inside rather than solid flesh.
