Peppers, 5 August 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

Long, slim peppers on 5 August shot from mulch level so the pods hang against clear blue, each swelling into a flat collar where its stalk meets the shoulder and some of them curled sharply at the tip, the largest elbow-curved, in low warm late-afternoon sun.
