Tomatoes, 4 August 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A Pineapple Tomato on 4 August shot from underneath so it hangs over the viewer, its shoulder split into six broad ribs with deep creases between them, still matte green and paling to near-white at the blossom end, its fine hair rimmed silver by backlight.
