Lettuce, 5 August 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

Salad seedlings newly through on 5 August, the nearest with one clean pair of rounded cotyledons and those further back run leggy on drawn stems, one of them still no more than a pinhead of green, in warm low light from the right.
