Week of 13 JulyA Fantasia Salmon geranium on 16 July, two umbels fully out in warm salmon pink with fine darker veins radiating from each throat and petal edges fading almost to white, its zoned leaves rimmed hard and bright by low raking sun.Week of 20 JulyA Fantasia Salmon geranium on 21 July, one umbel pushed clear of the foliage in coral-salmon with fine red veins running out of a dark eye, buds still tight at its middle and a few florets already collapsed to brown paper, every petal beaded with rain.Week of 17 AugustA Fantasia Salmon geranium on 20 August, two heads held up on stout stalks, each floret veined darker rose out of a small dark eye and some already crumpled to tan, over leaves banded with a faint dark horseshoe, in low evening light.
