Week of 20 JulyGeranium cuttings on 22 July, struck indoors in red party cups, the front plant olive at the center and bronze-purple out to the blade edge, others gone crimson and crisped tan at the tips, every leaf velvet with hair and fringed along the margin.Week of 10 AugustA geranium on 10 August, its almost circular velvety leaves scalloped at the margin and several carrying a faint darker horseshoe band inside the rim, two magenta umbels open high above them on bare stalks and four more still tight in bud.
