Hosta, 21 July 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A hosta on 21 July, its cream margins fingering inward along the veins of every blue-green leaf and puckering where the two colors meet, one scape still all fat lilac buds while a thinner one behind has already opened a single flower.
