Rosemary, 5 August 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A potted rosemary on 5 August, its needle leaves rolled so tightly under that they show woolly gray-white where they twist, tips gone yellow and brown, new growth flushing purple at the shoot ends, a small stone animal leaning against the pot.
