Carrot, 4 September 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

Foliage cut two and three times over into small toothed segments on 4 September, packed edge to edge until it reads as one canopy rather than rows — acid yellow-green where the low sun rakes the tops, near-black beneath, soil showing in a gap or two.
