Leeks, 29 September 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

On 29 September, a double row of fifteen or more plants fans broad V-folded blue-green straps from thick pale shafts, the longest arched over and kinked where they flopped onto bare reddish soil. Droplets sit in the leaf folds under flat overcast light.
