Peppers, 23 June 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A Santaka pepper on 23 June, eight or ten narrow blades drawn to fine points and several of them cupped or twisted, still beaded with rainwater, a knot of much smaller leaves balled up at the crown, set off to one side of an otherwise empty bed.
