Rosemary, 22 June 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A young rosemary on 22 June, its shoots crowded stiff with strap leaves into bottle-brushes, dark above and white-felted beneath with the margins rolled under, standing in a hand-built pot where a clay octopus rests its head on the rim, eyes closed.
