Citronella, 9 July 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A citronella geranium on 9 July, mounded so far over its own pot that only a rib of the rim still shows — every leaf cut palmately and then cut again into narrow toothed segments, the blades pebbled and finely haired, dew held along all their edges.
