Tomatoes, 12 July 2026

One photograph from the 2026 season.

A Cherokee Green tomato truss on 12 July, still all closed buds — five or six narrow bristled green points, and one flower in the middle of the cluster gone black on its stalk — every stem and sepal thickly furred with silvery hair against the shade.
